The PHCC Apprenticeship Training Program is designed for anyone who would like to expand their knowledge and develop their skills to earn top dollar in their trade. The Program is presented by the Knoxville Association of Plumibing-Heating-Cooling Contractors.
The program is open to anyone 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or its equivalent; and a sincere desire to gain more knowledge about the trade.
This is a four year apprenticeship program in which you work in the trade full time while attending school.
Apprentices are expected to learn how to do tasks through on the job training and to learn why tasks are performed in specific ways through classroom instruction.
The training requires basic knowledge about tools, saftety, technology, codes, legal requirements, etc....which are critical to anyone that works in the trade.
This program is certified by the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training, and approved by the Veterans Administration under the GI Bill.

Schedule:
Classses are held at 5:30pm on Monday and at 8:30pm on Tuesday. The classes start in September and end in March.
